GRAPHIC DESIGNER

PLANTA is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our quickly-growing Creative team! Reporting to the Senior Creative Lead, the Graphic Designer spearheads the creation of content for all needs across PLANTA’s various social channels. Moreover, this position will help with related marketing material needs, including updating restaurant menus, printed collateral, and other digital content. This position exercises strong creative abilities to illustrate the brand identities across multiple areas of the business, in a highly collaborative and exciting environment. PLANTA is redefining what it means to market a plant-powered world, and the Graphic Designer plays a key role.

• Champions the brand’s vision and values and contribute to a culture of positivity and high standards where all employees CHASE perfection in everything they do

• Create an environment that is warm, welcoming and filled with positivity for guests and employees

• Uphold our standards at all times and treat everyone with courtesy and respect

• Create exceptional and engaging social content, all the way from ideation to execution

• Utilize brand assets to design marketing collateral, digital content, signage, emailers, menus, event packages and more

• Execute menu updates for all restaurants, including special events (holiday menus, features, wine, dessert, etc.)

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and manage multiple digital projects concurrently

• Adhere to design standards and guidelines; deliver in accordance with deadline

• Assist in the ideation of new and unique content visuals

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design

• Fully understand and embody PLANTA’s can-do attitude, demonstrating a level of passion and dedication where no task is beneath you.

• Thrive in a collaborative environment, which includes working closely with the marketing team as well as events, operations and leadership

• A proactive team player that embodies our spirit of entrepreneurship and mutual respect

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Creative portfolio showing a range of projects you’ve concepted and designed

• Specific skills/experiences required: video editing, layout design, Adobe Creative Cloud such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Premiere/After Effects. Illustration and motion graphics are a plus

• Deadline-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and uber-creative!

• Informed and well thought-out opinions with a willingness to listen and problem solve

• An obsession with culture, food, tech and a perfectly crafted Internet meme

• Understand work-life integration and appreciate that work may be required on evenings and weekends in order to support content creation, as well as display the support we have for our phenomenal restaurant teams
